100 Financing Bad Credit, how to rebuild???

Question: I would like to buy a home ,I need 100% financing, bad credit trying to rebuild?

Answer: -Banks want to sell homes.. If you are showing proof that you are rebuilding your credit, that is a start.. Though it may be too soon. 100% financing may not be the wiesest choice.. You would be smarter to save a little money and go to a reputable lender.. There are many first time home buyer programs and some of these offer 100% financing.. In Scranton Pennsylvania, they have wonderful first time buyer programs with low intrest rates and 10 year tax exemption.. The area is really booming and there are alot of jobs there as well.. Well, you don't want to move?? Then I also suggest going to credit counceling classes.. This looks good to the lender and will help a bunch. I think Fannie Mae offers free classes.. Good luck, Remember, do your homework and watch out for scam lenders, their are a bunch of them. Also never fall prey to a balloon Morgage. -Be very careful! We had the same type situation a few years back. We went online to lending tree and found a company out of Utah I think it was. They were willing to do the whole thing. We kept in close contact up until closing, making sure everything went as planned. We were assured all was fine. Then on closing day, they tried to stick us with an interest rate 1.25 points higher than they'd signed us with. My husband is an attorney and he flipped out on the mortgage guy. We didn't end up closing for 2 more weeks and ended up having to sue the mortgage co. Make sure you get it all in writing!! -You will have a really high percentage on your loan, if you can get one at 100%. Why not save up while you rebuild your credit for a few years?
