They will run it for you and can tell you the score. Just say that you may want to buy or borrow but you are curious where your credit score is. -Freecreditreport.com will charge you for your score not the report. Some dealerships will tell you, but this will also show up as an inquiry on your credit report which could possibly lower your score. I have not find any way to get a free credit score. -Washington Mutual offers free credit scores to their cardholders whenever they log on. -To my knowledge there isn't a free FICO score you can obtain.
