Question: Bad Credit Car Loan?Me and my fiance have been trying to get a car. We both have bad credit, mine is 537 and his is 517. He has a reposseion on his less than a year old and I have a car in good standing on mine, but we got it for my sister. We make together around $3200.00 monthly. We have a car that could be a trade in, but it is a 1986. Does anyone know where we could get special financing? I am willing to pay more because our car is about to go out. Thanks the reason for the repo is because we just got a SUV for $457 a month, no problem, then I started have complications during my pregnancy and my doc took me off work, and the loan place wouldnt work with us. Additional DetailsWhere can I find a place to take me, even with a large down payment? I am willing to put a large down payment and I DO want a car, not another SUV. I have already been thru JD Byrider, that is where my sis's car is from. And HSBC is where we got the SUV. Anymore suggestions?
Answer: -Look for the cheapest car you can find rather than an SUV that is going to cost you more in the longrun with monthly payments, gas and insurance. -You need to find a buy here pay here used car lot near you. They specialize in bad credits and reposessions so you can get a good used car with a small down payment. It also depends on where you are from as to what is available. Around here there is a J.D. Byryder, Easy Credit Auto Sales, Court street motors, A1 Motors, and some more. -So you straw purchased a vehicle for your sister and your other car was repoed less than a year ago. Not good, but yes you can be approved for a loan but it will take a large down payment $2,500.00 to $3,000.00 and you will be looking at a small car not a S.U.V.. Your interest rate will most likely be the State max. and you will have to prove your income, residence, phone bill andprovide references. And do not go to a buy here pay here lot, they do not report to the credit bureaus so all of the payments you make will do nothing to improve your credit.
