Does anyone know what kind of fine I am looking at for hauling haz mat without an endorsement on my license?

Question: Does anyone know what kind of fine I am looking at for hauling haz mat without an endorsement on my license? The truck is commercial truck and was placarded. I have my class B but just needed the endorsement. I got a ticket but there was no court date on it and the officer just asked that I do not drive until I have the endorsement on my license. Needless to say I got it the next day. As far as my record goes I have 2 speeding tickets from about 6 years ago and 1 bad check about 5 years ago.

Answer: -Okay, well it doesn't look like a Scott-free outcome, but all isn't lost, either. It really all depends on where you live because every state has different licensing requirements for things like that. For instance, Nebraska can fine you up to $5,000 and you can lose your license for 60 days if you have more than one serious offense within a period of 3 years, while New York could fine you something else. Just wait and see what happens, deal with it accordingly. In the future, try not to go for a job that is willing to give you a position with something like that if you're not properly licensed; it's a red flag that the company could be getting away with more serious offenses--which puts you in the middle of their potential mayhem. -Not sure of the fine, but the company you work for shouldn't of given you a job without your hazmat endorsement. Your speeding tickets and bad check shouldn't have any effect on the price. You may lose your license or just pay the fine. I would talk to your boss and see what he recommends. And see if they can help you out with the cost of the ticket. -You should know better. I have my class A and I know not to do that. I don't know what the fine is but I can promise you it won't be less than $300. Oh and yes you company can get in trouble for allowing you to drive it but ultimately the blame lays with the driver because the driver should have refused.
