Question: Can I get a good excuse?OK So here is the prob. I purchased an electronics device about a week ago and well I lost my reciept and I heard bad reviews about it on consumer report and want to return it for that reason I know I wont get my money back so I am going to have to settle for some store credit, but this particular store ask's you "oh why do you want to return it and it makes me feel wierd, can anyone help with a good excuse for me?
Answer: -I usually lie and say that i'm returning it for my mother or something. and say i don't know why but she just told me to go return it, kinda puts the guilt off of you -The excuse I always say is "My wife/girlfriend etc.. bought me the same one. I told her I would take mine back and I would keep her's. I don't need two of them." That usually works pretty good. -Just say my mother has already got me one and you don't want to offend her by sending hers back
