Question: Anyone get a bad credit loan through First One Finance,Providence,R.I. They request 800 dollar payment first? The loan is for 5000 and they want first 6 months up front that sounds like a scam.
Answer: -It's a complete SCAM! Advance fee loans are totally ILLEGAL. Don't send them ANY money at all. You'll never see your "loan" and your $800 will be gone forever.Additionally, do NOT give them your bank account details! With that information they can drain your account before you know what's happening. If you have, contact your bank immediately and have a freeze on ACH out transfers without your explicit approval. -It costs and you must pay... If you would have made your payments as scheduled. You would not have this problem... Now you have to pay $800 before anyone will try and help you... The whole is this ---you still owe the money that you borrowed... But now you owe more...This is not a scam when they want 6 months upfront. What is the scam is you trying not to pay the $5000 back that you borrowed...The sooner you pay off the loan the sooner the monkey will get off your back... And leave you alone... -Do NOT send them any money. I was in your same situation 2 weeks ago, and they asked for $1,800. I was too stupid and desperate to research any further and they stole my money. Now no one answers the phone and their website is down. Please don't send them anything. A guy called Curtis Jefferson contacted me and did all the "paperwork" with me. I honestly can't believe I fell for that, but what's done it's done. And yes, Advanced Fee Loans are ILLEGAL in the U.S. and most countries.
