Question: Does anyone know which would be the best Visa card that someone with bad credit could apply for?I had alot of medical problems in the past that caused a disability and also ruined my finances. My credit has been improving for the last few years, everything is paid off now, but there are alot of late payments on my record.
Answer: -I have the same problem. I have applied for secured visa and mastercard from Orchard bank and Bank of America. You will see a credit score raise in about 3-4 months. -Medical bills are the most forgiven bills on your credit, so the fact that you paid late is not bad. The fact that you paid at all is good. There are a few cards that I know of that help people reestablish credit. They are, First Premier, My Tribute Card and Capitol One. You may start out with a kind of high interest rate and a low credit limit but thats ok. All of these banks have websites and you can apply right online. -There are alot of scams and undesireable credit cards in the bad credit market. Try the sites below for some helpful information to help you make a better decision in choosing a credit card.Start disputing the medical bills as not mine or never late. You will be surprised at how many will get removed.
