Question: Is it possible to get contract cell phone service with bad credit score. My score is 520. I want tmobile?
Answer: -I have a lower credit score than you do and I have a contract with T Mobile. Ask about the Smart Access Plan. Smart Access only means that you have a spending limit. You can't let your bill get higher than $200 or it will be shut off till you make a payment. There is nothing prepaid about it. I get 1000 anytime minutes, 500 texts a month, free nights/weekends, and 500 picture messages. Plus I have a second line for my husband. We pay $80/month. I love T-Mobile. I got a really cute camera phone from them for free too! -You should probably be able to get it at the most with a small deposit. The way most contract cell services work is the lower your credit score, the bigger the deposit you have to lay down to get a cell phone. And if you have good enough credit, then there's no deposit. Either way, you get the deposit back after a certain period of time anyway, so you aren't losing money. -Try virgin mobile, they do service in us. im in uk but i have a pre pay mobile on a direct debit bill, i get 100 texts and 500 minuts per month and the just debit my account, if i use too much the bill me for it and if i dont use it it just rolls over. i dont get a new phone but thats reflected in the price, there is no minimum tern either. just thought it might be of interest if the contract thing doesnt work out.
