Answer: -By paying the low monthly payments on ur credit card doesnt help ur credit at all.im assuming thats what ur doing or ur not paying at all.if ur just paying the low monthly payments u should try to pay some of them off in order to raise ur credit score..if u just pay the low monthly payments the interest rate is added to the next months bill..so if u try to pay off the bill u would be not be getting charge the interest rate every month..if u pay off in short time or pay more than the less monthly payment than there wouldnt be an interest rate build up on the balance of ur credit cards. -Look at your credit report, ask that incorrect information is removed, and pay your bills on time for 3-6 months. That should do it. Or try a certified credit counselor for help. -Obtain your credit report, review for errors, send that credit agency notification of the errors that must be deleted within 30 days they must respond to you by law or they are in violation of the fair credit and lending law. Any information false on the credit report write that store, business, etc., and inform them to check their information, you will recieve a response from them which you will send a copy to the credit agency that has the false information with a letter for them to remove from your credit report. Check your credit report once every 6 months.
