Question: How do I receive a totally free FICO credit score (no credit card required)?
Answer: -You can't, just a free credit report from each reporting agency once a year at annualcreditreport.com -You can't get it for free, but you can do a one time deal. You pay $89 for a year, and then another $15 to get your credit score. It is really worth it, especially if you are watching/improving your credit and thinking about making a major purchase. I want to point out (what others didn't mention) is that there is a difference between FICO and just a Credit Report (PLUS score). They use different methods in figuring your score. If you absolutely can't afford the prices above, you can register to get your free credit report on one of the before mentioned sites for a general range in credit score. Consider this: my husbands differences between his PLUS and FICO score: nearly 100 points. His FICO was much lower. The difference between my FICO on PLUS is only 66 points. So getting your FICO is important, but at least if you get a Free Credit Report, you can generally monitor your credit history/inquiries. -Find a friend in the car business and have them pull your credit and print it out.Other than that, you can't.
