A company can't just remove something off someone's report unless it was done illegally, much less for free. -Save your money.There are only two ways an accurate item can be deleted from your credit report.1) The creditor must delete it2) The creditor fails to respond to a dispute investigation to the credit bureau.If you want to try plan #1.....contact the creditor and arrange to pay off the debt...but ONLY if they delete the item once the debt is paid. Or you can simply offer them a bribe. Collection agencies hire a lot of low-life people, and you may find one that would work "behind the scenes" to clean your credit if it will put something into their pocket.Most people try plan #2. Read the link below...send out some certified letters to the credit bureau and hope that the creditor either lost your records, or has an incompetent collections department who doesn't respond. This is the #1 method of getting items removed. You don't need to hire anyone..just send out a few letters.
