Answer: -It depends how bad your credit rating is.if it's like mine,you'll have more chance of winning the jackpot on euromillions than getting a loan.normally,you can find some company that wil lend you something,but you normally need to go through a loan broker first.they look for companies that are willing to lend you something,but not necessarily the amount you want.then the brokers expect you to pay them Ј49 fee before they pass on the companies details to you.depends what you want the money for.if it's just for luxuries,then personally i would do without.if it's to do with paying off debts,then citizens advice would be a good place to start,as they would be able to point you in the right direction of a free debt advice organisation,so you can make your repayments more manageable. -You will be better off to apply for a credit card with interest free for 6 or 12 months, which may allow you a limit of Ј4000,depending on your credit status and how long you have been with present employer. Otherwise, the banks use the same data from the credit agencies and you have no chance with any of them. -Seems strange you have bad credit rating. wont your bank do you a loan? lot of super markets do loans. be careful though as your credit score is apparently afftected each time companies look it up to check your rating as it shows that you have asked for a Ј4000 loan but doesn't say if you got one or not. So apparently a company could look at your credit score and they will see is that a number of loan compainies may have given you a Ј4000 loan! it wont say if they actually did or not! check this info with some one in the know as this is only what i was told when we tried to get a loan to buy a car.
