What type of lawyer do I need???

Question: Identity theft--credit cards stolen. What type of lawyer do I need?My debit/credit cards were stolen on 3/25/07. The thieves went on a shopping spree at nearly over 20 retail stores, gas stations, and restaurants. No one asked for ID! This is completely unacceptable. A thief is going to be a thief when given the opportunity. That’s not to say that I condone or accept what they did, however, had the merchants taken two seconds of responsibility and asked for identification they would not have been able to prosper from their actions. That said, I am really pissed off with the merchants and would like to sue them for not protecting me as a consumer, for only being concerned with their bottom line. Identity theft is on the rise and until we hold merchants responsible, it will continue to grow.

Answer: -I am an Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist and I can tell that you may be able to bring forth a law suit against these retailers for not properly identifying the user of your credit cards. Those fraud protections credit cards provide actually work to benefit the business because we don't read the fine print. Businesses are actually responsible for the collection of people's financial and personal information, meaning your employer also. Call my business line 551 358 1731, Afaf. I give free consultations and offer a product to protect yourself from future incidents. -The best way to stop it is by preventing it. You should have some protection from the companies that issued the cards.
